Eco-events come to county
Musicians Dana Lyons and Lone Wolf Circles bring their national tour, "How Do You Spell Skin Cancer? D.U.P.O.N.T." to Rappahannock, 8 p.m. Thursday, April 2.

A slide-show and lecture on the environmental hazards facing Siberia's Lake Baikal will be held from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, April 5 at the Rappahannock Library. The talk by Bill Pfeiffer of the Sacred Earth Network in New York is sponsored by the Rappahannock Rainforest Action Group and the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection.
Lake Baikal is the oldest and deepest lake in the world and holds one-fifth of the planet's fresh water as well as 12,000 specia.
