A bright and playful Australian shepherd cross female, about 4 months old, is the featured dog at the shelter this week. Other dogs available at the Rappahannock Animal Shelter in Amissville this week are a 2 month old female husky-lab cross, black with a white chest and white paws; a 2-3 year old female beagle, brown, black and white; a 5-6 month old creme colored male shepherd; and a 3-4 year old male hound cross, tan in color. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. The lost animal registry can be found in the Classified Section of the Rappahannock News.
