vided by a full-time staff person, supervised by a staff nurse. All the activities, including individual companionship and reassurance, are carried out by a group of dedicated volunteers.

The Bowl-a-Thon, set for noon April 26 will help us pay the expenses not met by client fees. We have some teams from the county scheduled to bowl. We’d like others to join them. Bowlers collect pledges based on their score. They get a free T-shirt and a free game, thanks to the generosity of Warrenton Lanes, our co-sponsor.

Anyone wanting a registration form can pick one up from Nancy Reeve at the Rappahannock Department of Social Services; from Rose Ann Sharp at The Child Care and Learning Center; or Jeannie McNear at the Rappahannock Family Guidance Services. If you have any questions, or would like to help out at the bowling alley or offer a service or small item for a door prize, please call me at 703-347-0440 or 703-8253100 or Mrs. McNear at 675-3329.
