Mr. Reeve noted that most attacks on Perot are coming from Republicans. He said he has not been included in any campaign plans but he believes the “Democratic strategy is to sit low and let those two duke it out if that’s what they want.”
Mr. Reeve said he sees Mr. Perot’s campaign as “the man’s response to the perceived inadequacies of Goerge Bush ... but the appeal of the Perot candidacy is not just based on contempt for George Bush but on contempt for how Washington has worked for the past 20 years, especially the last 12 years with Republican Presidents and Democratic Congresses.”
