Mrs. Alvin Atkins and brother Harold of Sperryville were Thursday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family. On Father’s Day they had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier on Rt. 615. Mrs. Atkins and Harold had previously spent several days with their aunt Nettie Corbin in Winchester.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory, Joseph and Jennifer were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mills, Shirley, Rebecca and Mary for a cookout in honor of Father's Day.
Mrs. Thomas Winkler, Mrs. Jack Johnston, Mrs. Edmond Burke, Mrs. Frank Duncan, Mrs. Van Lagos, Mrs. Russell Deane, Mrs. Buddy Thornhill, Mrs. Emerson Bennett, Mrs. George Butler and Lottie Johnston all motored to Orange on Monday where they were entertained in the home of Mrs. Kent Higginbotham for a birthday party honoring Mrs. Winkler and Mrs. Johnston.
