Not long ago I thought that I could just relax and eryoy a little golf, reading, thinking, playing with the grandchildren when it pleased me, get them out of sight when they annoyed me. In short, I had served my time.
But I kept reading the paper and listening to the news and looking at the environment. It occurred that this world has gone to the dogs since I have been in it. Our children and our children’s children are the products and the victims of our search for comfort.
People my age should be the ones ' most interested in eliminating the debt, clearing the pollution, feeding the poor, guiding the disadvantaged and helping countries that desperately need help. We probably have most of the money, we are experienced and educated, and most of all we have nothing else to do that is really worth doing in comparison.
That is why I am for someone different and especially one that has no backs to scratch, and no elses cause to pitch.
