Amissville, was sentenced to six years, with five suspended, for breaking and entering last Sept. 30. Weaver also received an additional 12 months in jail, to serve consecutively, on an amended charge of petty larceny.
A companion charge of destruction of private property was not prosecuted, according to court records. Judge Robertson also sentenced Weaver to two years supervised probation following his release.
Wendie Dee Morrison, 20, of Chester Gap, pleaded guilty to two counts of forgery and two counts of making a false application in a welfare fraud case. A third count and forgery and another charge of making a false application were not prosecuted.
Morrison was sentenced to four years on each of the forgery charges, served consecutively, with six years’ suspended. The false application charges also netted two four year sentences, served consecutively, with seven years’ suspended.
Judge Robertson ordered her to serve two years of the sentences in the Community Diversion Incentive program, and two years’ supervised probation following her release.
