Helen Campbell
Helen Virginia Campbell, 82, of Luray, died Friday, June 19 in Page Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Campbell was born Sept. 14, 1909 in Page County, the daughter of the late Stage Arthur and Daisy Mae Shorts Viands.
She was a housewife and the wife of the late Donald Campbell.
Survivors include three sons, William Campbell of Fredericksburg, James Campbell of Baltimore, Md. and Charles Lee Campbell of Shenandoah; three daughters, Brenda Strickler of Luray, Anna Allen of Baltimore, Md. and Faye Pullen of Washington; one brother, Bobbie Lee Viands of Deale, Md.; one sister, Grace Pattison of Ellicott City, Md.; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
One son, Samuel Kenneth Viands predeceased her.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 23 at Bradley Funeral Home in Luray with Rev. Frankie Painter officiating. Burial was in Beahm’s Chapel cemetery.
