Members of the Sperryville Business Council will meet for their annual picnic at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at Tranquility, home of Barbara C. Burke. There will be a short business meeting. All members are invited.
Family and friends of the late Aubrey R. and Ellen Baker Jenkins gathered on Saturday at the Rappahannock Park for their family reunion.
Approximately 125 enjoyed the delicious food, fellowship and meeting old and new friends.
Prizes were awarded to the oldest person Mary Woodard, the youngest person Amy Jenkins and the person with the most children present going to Eva J. Sample.
Plans for next year’s reunion were discussed and the date set for Saturday, June 19.
