Farmland also has created a kosher milk called “Goldman’s Select." The processing conforms to the strict dietary guidelines maintained by conservative Orthodox and Hasidic Jews. “Finding the underserved markets is important in milk processing,” added Mr. Goldman.

Strawberry soda
1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 pint strawberry ice cream, softened
11/2 cups chilled creme soda
Whipped cream
Fresh whole strawberries
Mash strawberries until almost smooth. Stir together half the ice cream and one-third of the creme soda. Divide among 3 tall chilled glasses. Place 1 scoop ice cream in each glass. Pour in enough soda to cover ice cream and strawberry mixture. Garnish each with whipped cream and a fresh whole strawberry.
Makes 3 cups.

Brown cow punch
2 quarts cold chocolate milk
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 gallon coffee ice cream
In punch bowl stir together chocolate milk and almond extract. Add ice cream by scoops. Stir, allowing scoops of ice cream to float on top.
Makes 25 servings.
