Special congratulations to Ginny Pierson who recently received a certificate from the Governor for her nomination for the Governor’s Award for Volunteering Excellence (GAVE). Ginny is a member of the Fire Department, the Ruritan Club, and other organizations, as well as a foster mom and assists in the community wherever needed.
The Ruritan Club regrets it has had to cancel this year’s BBQ. It is hoped their facility will be completed to hold next year’s BBQ in their community center.
