her mother-in-laws wedding gown. The ivory peau de soie dress was accented with heirloom rose point lace which belonged to the groom’s grandmohter, Cornelia Sharp. The lace cap was also fashioned from the same lace. She carried a bouquet of roses, apple blossoms, lilacs, periwinkle and ivy.
Immediately following the ceremony the wedding reception was held at Mountain Green, the Sharp’s family farm.
The bride is a graudate of Rappahannock County High School and received her B.S. in nursing from the University of Virginia. She is the public health nurse for Rappahannock County.
The groom is a graduate of St. Abselms School of Washington, D.C. He received a B.A. in English with a minor in biology from William and Mary and Master of Science degree in plant pathology from Vir-^ ginia Tech. He is self-employed.
Following a wedding trip to Ireland, the couple is residing in Amissville.
