Since the Board of Supervisors turned down the School Board’s request for a go-ahead to build a middle school last week, the School Board voted Tuesday night to send another letter to the supervisors asking for a go-ahead to build an addition to the elementary school costing approximately $1.3 million.
The letter also asks for funding for an architect so the board can select an architect before July, 1993, and support for using the Virginia Public School Authority as a source for bond funding.
It also urges the supervisors to buy adjoining land for school usage and asks for support for the continued study of future secondary and vocational expansion.
There was little discussion about the vote to send the letter. Members
