Call for the Mass Meeting of the Republican

Party of Rappahannock County

I, Ronald L. Frazier, Chairman of the Republican Party of Rappahannock County, do hereby issue a call for the mass meeting of all members of the Republican Party in Rappahannock County, Virginia, to be held at the Court House in Washington, VA„ at 8:00 P.M. on March 15,1993. The purposes of the mass meeting will be to elect delegates and alternates to the 31st Legislative District Convention, to nominate a Republican candidate for the Office of 31st Legislative District of the General Assembly and to elect delegates and alternates to the State Convention of the Republican Party of Virginia for the purpose of nominating Republican candidates for the offices of Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Virginia and for any other such business as shall properly come before the conventions. Rappahannock County is allotted 10 delegate votes at the above conventions, and a maximum of five delegates per vote may be elected to represent the county. The 31st District Convention will be held at the Warrenton Junior High on May 13,1993, at 6:30 P.M. and the State Convention at the Richmond Coliseum, Richmond, Va, on June 4-5,1993. There will be no charge or pre-registration for the Mass Meeting. Registration starts at 7:00 P.M. and closes at 8:00 P.M. Anyone in line at 8:00 P.M. will be admitted. Candidates for delegates and alternates to the conventions must pre-file their intentions in writing and mail or hand deliver them by 5:00 P.M., Sunday, February 28, 1993, (or postmarked by February 27,1993) to Ronald L. Frazier, Rt. 1, Box 1833, Amissville, Va, 22002, (703) 937-5983. The filing fee for the 31st Legislative District will be $5 and the State Convention will be $35 and should be sent with pre-filing letter or paid no later than the mass meeting on March 15th, as there are late fees if paid at the conventions.
