Funeral services were held Feb. 9, at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. William C. Smith officiating.
Interment followed in the Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Owen Cubbage, Harvey Tharp, Roy Hitt, Hohn Nuttall, Sonnie Hicks, Larry Cubbage, Charles Woodsby, and Terry Cubbage.
William Bruce
William Otice Bruce, 84, of Amissville died Feb. 6 at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Mr. Bruce was born Jan. 30 in Greene County.
He is survived by his wife, Iva Lee Bruce of Amissville; four daughters, Jeanne Bruce of Amissville, Wanda Martin of Opal, Joyce Home of Baltimore, MD and Betty Mae Wiseman of Kentucky; three sisters Edith Hall of Centreville, Della Morris of Charlottesville and Willie Mae Pritchett of Ruckersville; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
