Whatever, you can already feel the tension and the excitement mounting for the gubernatorial election year of 1993, even if you are at the periphery of such things as 1 have been since leaving journalism for another career. One can sense that we are in for a knock-down drag-out no-holds-barred year, if you will pardon the cliches, that may well be the most expensive statewide elections in history as well as a solid indicator on who is going to run the state governemnt for the rest of the 20th sentury.
