Football league forming
Parents interested in helping to form a youth football league are asked to call Cecelia Dennis at 547-3476 after 6 p.m. or Steve Young at 987-9517 for more information.
The Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA) will hold a public meeting on RAA baseball at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the Amissville fire hall. Due to the growth in the past three years, the league has decided to discuss a single draft system for the entire league. That is a player from either end of the county could be drafted to play for a team on either end of the county.
A play group meets from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursdays at Trinity Episcopal Church. You may wish to bring a snack for yourself and your children. All are welcome. For any questions call 937-5314.
