Ki Theatre, the Rappahannock Farmers Association and the Virginia Association for Biological Farming are jointly sponsoring Crossroads 1993 - Soil and Soul: Sustaining our Community, a three-day celebration and festival Friday evening through Sunday afternoon October 8-11.
The Columbus Day weekend event will begin at 8 p.m. Friday evening with a square dance and old fashioned pie auction at Ki Theatre organized by Kathryn Treanor, Carlotta Wellington will do the calling. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for children. Instruction will be provided for novice square dancers. .
On Saturday there will be “festival tours” of five area farms. These tours will incorporate the w ork of local artists. There will also be a series of workshops offered. Tours and workshops will be from 10 a.m. until noon and from 2 to 4 p.m.
Participants can choose one morning and one afternoon tour or workshop. Each tour or workshop
