The Fall Festival for Amissville United Methodist Chruch will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 24 and 25. Lunch will be available. To donate items or rent a space, call 937-4672 or 347-0072.

A public hearing for the “SixYear Secondary Road Plan” is set for 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 13, before the Culpeper Board of Supervisors. If your road needs upgrading, be prepared to state your case before the Board.

Still haven’t sold all those items this year in your yard sale? Nowt is a good time to “clean house” and donate those items to the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department. Their auction will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30.

The Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA) filled only three positions at last week’s meeting to elect new officers. Rich Pentecost is president, Lydia Pentecost secretary, and Joanne Koceski treasurer.
