lasts two hours. Advance tickets are $S for adults for both morning and afternoon ev ents and $1 for children. For just half a day tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for children.
One of the two morning tours will be at the Birds’ 423-acre Horseshoe Hollow Farm on the Fodderstack Road. The farm produces hay and grains organically, and much of the farm work is done with draft horses which are also used for logging. Sharon Wyrrick, choreographer, working with other area artists will provide the artistic part of the festival at jHorseshoe Hollow.
The other morning farm tour will be at Richard and Joyce Abell’s Thistle Hill Truckpatch where asparagus, lettuce and small fruits are grown organically in raised beds. Jeanne Drevas, a potter, will gather other artists to intertwine oral histories, music and dance.
