Members of the Rappahannock County Garden Club enjoyed an interesting and instructive program at their regular monthly meeting on Sept. 16. A talk and demonstration on the “Basics of Flower Arranging” were presented by Rosa Crocker, a landscape architect who resides in the Huntly area of Rappahannock County.
Ms. Crocker created a colorful arrangement as she lectured to the group, emphasizing her philosophy of using plant materials which are readily available. She encouraged using plants which are native to the area when planning home gardens.
