especially Rappahannock’s famous apples and apple cider. The Country Manor will hold demonstrations of apple butter boiling. If you don’t care for apples, there will be lots of baked goods, including funnel cakes. The Sperryville Fire Department will be selling their traditional and always popular hamburgers and hotdogs.
Basket weaving, paintings, photographs, and other crafts will be conspicuously displayed. Many Sperryville business will be having special in-store and catalog sales to celebrate the start of the fall season. Because the festival is the first weekend in October, residents and visitors will have their pick of goods right at the start of the busiest season.
Children will enjoy the pony rides and many games. The whole family can participate on guided trail rides through some of the fall colors in Rappahannock’s beautiful back country.
