Where to buy lottery tickets ■. More than 5,600 retailers sell Virginia Lottery tickets. Licensed retailers include convenience stores, service stations, supermarkets, restaurants, and other retail outlets throughout the state. Lottery retailers are allowed to sell tickets seven days a week. Tickets for Pick 3, Pick 4, Lotto, and Cash 5 may be sold from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Instant tickets may be sold 24 hours a day.
