Recently Frank Wolf joined with two other Virginia congressmen in writing to Roger Kennedy, newly appointed head of the National Park Service, demanding that the original brochures be destroyed, saying they "unfairly characterize” the efforts of those who succeeded in keeping the Skyline Drive open. In a follow-on interview, Congressman Wolf said of the original brochure, “It’s totally out of character, unorthodox, inaccurate. You don’t want government employees calling taxpayers special interests.”
