Time ended with the score tied 1 to 1, and the teams played a scoreless overtime. The players agreed to a three-man shoot out to break the tie, and the alumni managed to score two more goals to the students one, ending the game with a 3 to 2 alumni w^n.
The Homecoming Parade at half time began with the high school marching band followed by a tiny SCA float, and then the Homecoming princesses, each class’s princess followed by that class’s float. As each princess completed the circuit of the track, whe was met by her escort, who helped her out of the car which carried her. The court was introduced by emcee Jon Heddleston.
Representing the eighth grade was Kati Paratore escorted by Jonathan Heddleston. Nocole Magee, escorted by Nathan Flinchum, represented the freshman class. Laura McNear, escorted by Mark Jenkins represented the sophomore class. The junior class was represented by Amy Hathaway escorted by Mike Wolfe. The senior class as usual was represented by two girls escorted by two boys. Leah Marlett was escorted by Jason Waters, and Stephanie Cook was escorted by Mike Grimsley.
