Winemaker's Dinner

On Nov. 6 Prince Michel Vineyards will host a winemaker's dinner at the Prince Michel Restaurant to celebrate the release of its Lot 88 Le Ducq and its very first Brut Sparkling Wine.

The evening includes a pre-dinner reception with a billiards demonstration and dramatic reenactment of Van Gogh’s Le Cafe Nuit, featured on the Le Ducq label along with a five course dinner paired with Prince Michel’s finest wines. Artists' Reception

Middle Street Gallery invites the public to an Artists’ Reception for the Made-In-Virginia show from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6. In congunction with the year of American craft, works of clay, glass, metal fiber, wood, leather and mixed medid will be shown. The show runs through Nov. 21. Gallery hours are 11-6, Friday-Sunday.

Chilli Dinner

Halloween Party

The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will be having a Halloween party at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31. There will be games, refreshments and prizes.

Polaroid Education Program

On Tuesday, Nov. 16 at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium, Polaroid Education Progaram is offering a Visual Learning Workshop for area teachers from 4:15 to 6 p.m. Teachers will receive a free Polaroid carmera, training in its use, and ideas about using instant photography to enrich any curriculum. They will also become members of Polaroid’s proof of purchase exchange program for educators and receive a regular newsletter with hands on information from other teachers. The workshop fee is $10 and registration must be sent to PEP, Rt. 1 Box 45, Washington, Va., 22747 by Nov. 2nd. Participants will also need to bring a pack of 600 film. Craft Festival

St. Luke’s Lutheran School is sponsoring a craft festival from 2 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 at the school. To rent a table call Peggy Brown at 825-3091 after 6 p.m.
