He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Albert Burke.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at Culpeper Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. H.O. Browning and the Rev. John S. Farrar officiating.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Lena Jenkins
Mrs. Lena Pearl Jenkins, 72, of Culpeper, died Friday, Oct. 22 at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
She was bom Nov. 1, 1920, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude Burke Jenkins.
Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Shiloh Freewill Baptist Church in Criglersville.
She was the wife of the late William “Willie” Jenkins.
Survivors include two sons, Russell J. “Tommy” Jenkins of Lignum and James W. Jenkins of Rapidan; three grandchildren, Melissa Dawn
