There are Halloween events planned in all areas of the county this weekend, offering fun for all ages.
Head over to the Rappahannock County Elementary School on Friday, October 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. for their Halloween Fun Fest. Tickets for games will be on sale for 25 cents each; one ticket is required for each game, and four tickets for the haunted house. Featured games will be a bean bag toss, duck pond, cake walk, witch toss, gone fishin’, face painting and a lollipop tree. Refreshments will be available. Parents are asked to accompany their children.
Raffle tickets will be on sale for $1.00 each to benefit the PTO. The raffle drawing will take place Friday evening also. First prize will be two tickets to the Redskins-Vrikings game on December 31, 1993; second prize is a $50 savings bond from F & M Bank; third prize is a haircut from the Beauty Box; fourth prize is a children’s book from Cabin Fever Books, and fifth prize is a craft doll
