Mrs. Atkins and Mrs. Corbin were Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and family on Rt. 615. Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Dodson on Winchester visited in the Atldns home and their mother, Mrs. Corbin returned home with them after a week’s visit here.

Congratulation to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thornhill who celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary at Grayson Hill on Saturday.

Mrs. Gale Halterman was a guest last Sunday of her parents Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Cunningham at Jeffersonston.

Mrs. Ray Frazier visited Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meade in Culpeper on Thursday.

Many folk from our area toured the Skyline Drive during the weekend to enjoy the turning of the beautiful leaves.

We’re glad to report that Mr. George Eliss has greatly improved from his recent accident.

Mrs. George Butler was among the family members attending the Fishback reunion at Brightwood Ruritan Club house recently.

Family member and friends of Mrs. Lena Jenkins in our area attended her funeral in Culpeper Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. George Whorton, Sarah and Stephen were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Frazier in Jeffersonston.

Sympathy goes out to Mr. J.W. Jenkins and family upon the loss of his mother Mrs. Lena Jenkins who passed away on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Alphin attended his 40th class reunion at Hampden-Sidney College last weekend.

Mrs. Howdy Holschuh returned to her home last Monday after having been a patient in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
