Mountain Green Farm in Washington is the site for the haunted hayrides and bonfires sponsored by the Child Care and Learning Center. The festivities run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 30. October 31 is the rain date,

The first two hayrides will be geared toward the smallest children (not scary), and will last approximately 20 minutes each. The costume contest is set for 6:30, and a pinata bashing is planned. Bonfires will be set up surrounding the pond. Hotdogs, buns, cider and apples will be for sale. Bring marshmallows for roasting at your bonfire and a blanket to sit on.
