Over the centuries herbs have remained tried and true allies in our healing process. You might be surprised to learn how many of these herbal ‘allies’ can be found growing in our Rappahannock backyard,” she added.

You will have an opportunity to ■ experience this speaker’s infectious enthusiasm for herbs and their applications and to explore a new “intimacy with the natural world” duringa program at the Rappahannock Library from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7.
