Photo courtesy of Bobby Rutherford Henry and Esther Rutherford of Castleton celebrated their 65th anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 26 with a family gathering at the home of their daughter and son-inlaw in Luray. The Rutherfords were married September 29,1928 in Hagerstown, Md. They have eight children including a set of twins; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The Rutherfords have lived in Virginia all of their lives and most of the time in Rappahannock. Mrs. Rutherford is currently a patient in Fauquier Hospi tal but is expected home later this week.
