Graveside services were held on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Etlan Cemetery in Madison with full military honors.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Ethel Conner
Ethel Susie Hawes Conner, 101, of Stephens City, died Thursday, Oct. 21 at her residence.
The funeral was conducted Monday, Oct. 25 at Refuge United Methodist Church in Stephens City by the Rev. B.L. Locke.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Conner was bom Sept. 30, 1892, in Washington, the daughter of the late James Franklin and Louvenia Clark Hawes.
She was a housewife and a member of the Refuge United Methodist Church.
She was the wife of the late Harvey Stickley Conner.
Surviving are three daughters, Elise Keehr and Audrey Horwath, both of Stephens City, and Marie Pettie of Culpeper; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Horwath, John McAuley, David Conner, Charles Pettie, Ronnie Greene and Tommy Campbell.
Honorary , pallbearers were Gary Keehr and Lary Keehr.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Refuge United Methodist Church, c/o Ronnie Green, 743 Refuge Church Road, Stephens City 22655.
Arrangements were handled by the Enders Funeral Home in Stephens City.
W.A. Sealock, Jr.
William Alfred “Butch” Sealock Jr., 44, of Chester Gap, died Friday, Oct. 22 at his home.
The funeral was conducted Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the Chester Gap Baptist Church by the Rev. Jimmy Burke.
Burial was in Willis Chapel Cemetery in Huntly.
Mr. Sealock was bom Aug. 16, 1949, in Warren County, the son of Nora North Sealock of Chester Gap and the late William Alfred Sealock Sr.
