The School Board approved Superintendent David Gangel’s plan to leave undecided whether a new teacher to be hired will teach kindergarten or run an “alternative education” program.
“We need both; but we have enough money to fund one,” Dr. Gangel said.
Dr. Gangel said the school system will conduct interviews trying to find a teacher who can handle either assignment. He said he believes this is possible.
