“A new full-year tuition scholarship is available in the fall to college-bound students interested in attending Lord Fairfax Community College because of the recent generous donation of the Amoco Foundation,” according to Jennifer Sager, Executive Director of the Lord Fairfax Community College Educational Foundation.
Lawrence Pearlman, the human resources supervisor of the Winchester office of Amoco Foam Products, presented Dr. Marilyn Beck, president of Lord Fairfax Community College, with a $1,500 check to establish the scholarship for a student interested in areas such as engineering, chemistry, biology or environmental science.
