The 1994 Culpeper-MadisonRappahannock Farm Show was held in Culpeper July 21-25. Several Rappahannock youngsters and adults participated and returned home with ribbons.
Rappahannock winners were:
Ashley Corbin: Swine, Lightweight-5th.
Zachary Corbin: Swine, Markethog, 200-205-6th; Novice Showman8hip-3rd, Beef Show: Reserve Champion; Champion Angus Heifer.
David Massie: Swine, Heavyweight-lst; Markethog 230-235-6th; Markethog 240-255-5th.
Elaina Thornhill: 4-H Dairy Show, Intermediate Fitting-4th; Intermediate Showmanship-5th; Senior Heifer Calf-5th; Summer Heifer Calf, Holstein-3rd; Junior Yearling Heifer, Holstein-4th; Senior Yearling Heifer, Holstein-2nd; Horse Show, Pony Hunter,4th and 5th; Flat Class-5th; Pony Handy Hunter5th.
Lauren Thornhill: 4-H Dairy Show, Novice Fitting-2nd; Novice Showmanship-lst; Senior Heifer Calf-3rd; Intermediate Yearling Heifer, Holstein-4th. Lauren also received the Cedar Springs Dairy Farm Award, which is awarded to a first year exhibitor based on overall conduct, showing performance, barn display and care of barn area, donated by the Lamb families.
