Barbara Staton wrote to say she was angered by finding people opposed to the park because of “misinformation.” In a telephone conversation she said, “I got aggravated because I couldn’t take a vacation without having people comment when I said I was from Haymarket.”
Mrs. Staton said she wrote the letter and gave it to the Welcome Committee to send out as a Letter to the Editor. She also said she signed the individual letters.
