On election ! day I stopped competing with Dean. ; I met with him in mid-June at my request to discuss the Fourth of July celebration. On the Fourth of July I met with him to discuss his continuing role in the water system installation. I was aware that I had to learn about the system. I also appreciated the fact that Brad Fisher and Dean have a personal involvement in the system. At our meeting Dean offered to continue his interactions ' with the project contractor and engineer and his efforts to obtain funding. He indicated that he was not seeking authority to commit the town to funding obligations.
