G/T Committee To Meet

The Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee for the Rappahannock County Public Schools will meet in the RCES library at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The meeting is open to the public.

Register to Vote

The last day to register to vote in the November election is Tuesday, Oct. 11.

The registrar’s office will be closed Monday, Oct. 10 for the Columbus Day holiday. However, the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 8.

Voters may cast absentee ballots at the registrar’s office when it is open. Normal office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Also the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 5. Call 675-3739 for farther information.

Wolf's Rep To Visit

Mrs. Donna Crowley, a representative of Congressman Frank Wolf, will visit the town of Washington on Thursday, Oct. 6.

Mrs. Crowley will be at the Rappahannock Extension Office from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
