Members of the Sperryville Business Council were very pleased with their annual Apple Harvest Festival this past weekend. Many of the businesses will continue with special sales throughout the month and appreciates the support of the community.
For any local resident that didn’t get a chance to pickup one of the Apple Cookbooks from the Extension Homemakers booth over the weekend, they are still available thru the Rappahannock Extension Office on gay Street in Washington as well as some local businesses and offices. They are only $3 each and would make wonderful Christmas gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Doyle duBose of Belpre, Ohio were weekend guests of Mrs. Kathryn Wayland and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayland and Tiffany.
