The United Methodist Churches held their annual charge conference Monday evening at the Sperryville United Methodist Church. District Supervisor Samuel Nesmith presided over the conference.

Mrs. Shirley Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. was a last Tuesday guest of Mrs. Catherine Brown. Mrs. Brown retured home with her daughter for several days visit returning home on Thursday. Mrs. Barbara Payne of Warrenton was a Saturday guest of her mother, Mrs. Brown.
