Gus Forbush has been involved in running several of the races for 18 years, and will be in charge of the races, along with Casanova huntsman Tommy Lee Jones, at the International Horse Show to be held in Washington, D.C. later this month. There will also be a schooling race in Casanova on Oct. 16, and a real trial on Nov. 6.

In 1987, Mr. Forbush took six Jack Russells and their owners to New York to be on the David Letterman show. The terriers held a race in one of the hallways at the show. “We had a rehearsal at 5 p.m. and they were on the show at 5:30,” said Mr. Forbush.
