Mr. Harris hopes that from this will come increased emphasis on coordinating efforts to preserve the environment with development. He has opened an office in the former Cabin Fever bookstore which he said is a “community resource center... focusing on a sustainable balanced community with an environmental conscience. I think we have that. It’s my goal to help maintain it.”

He said he remains concerned with what will happen to the land in western Prince William. Exxon owns a large parcel on which Disney had options. ‘We need to continue to be concerned with what happens to that land,” he said.
