NSDAR Members To Meet
The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter NSDAR, will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at the Rappahannock County Library. The program “Women»in the American Revolution,” will be narrated by chapter member Mrs. Dan K. Shackleford, with Mrs. Thomas M. Johnston as chairman.
Auction Planned

Apple Butter Making Planned
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue will be making apple butter Oct. 15 and 22. The price will be $4.50 per quart. To place orders call Connie Huff-Harris at 675-3389. Also on Oct. 15 chicken barbecue dinners will be sold on the carnival grounds starting at 12 noon for $6 each. The dinner will consist of barbecue chicken, cole slaw, baked beans, dinner roll and homemade dessert of your choice.
Flexercise Classes
A 12-week series of aerobic/flexercise classes began on Monday, Sept. 19. Classes will be held Mondays and Thursdays at Rappahannock Elementary School from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Fee for the class is $65. Beginners are welcome. Call Roseann Sharp at 675-3887, evenings for more information.
Cemetery Day
Notice to our kindred; i.e., Bolens, Pullens, Dwyers, Gaunts, Baileys, Baldwins, Clatterbucks, Kindalls and others...we are planning an excursion to the Bolen Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 8. We will be in need of several 4x4 vehicles.
We will meet at the parking area at the end of Route 614 at 10 a.m. Remember those of our family who are elderly or too disabled to walk that distance. Expecting you to be there for them! Contact Wayne Baldwin should you have any questions.
