Roderick Nelson Woodward, 55, of Front Royal, died Friday, Sept. 30 at his home.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Jerry Young. /
Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery at Front Royal.
Mr. Woodward was bom Feb. 15,1939, in Sperryville, son of Floyd Nelson Woodward of Orlando, Fla. and the late Audrey Jenkins Woodward.
He retired after 20 years from UPS and was a real estate tax assessor for the Warren County Commissioner of Revenue. He served in the U.S. Navy during peace-time and was a graduate of Warren County High School.
He was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge 2382 of Front Royal and an honorary and lifetime member of the Front Royal Jaycees.
