are very sweet and loving toward their masters. They love to sleep on their owners’ bed at night, and are very loyal and always willing to please. One of the Caldwell's dogs, Isebo, jumps in the air as if she has springs in her legs. She can easily leap into a person’s arms, and will do so again and again.
Mrs. Caldwell has;been entering her Jack Russells in races and agility trials for many years. She trains them at home in her yard, using an A-frame, about eight feet tall in the middle, for them to practice climbing and running down. The little dogs just seem to love doing it, and of course love the treat she has ready for them when they hit the ground. She hopes to get other animal owners in the county interested in the agility trials too; they is not just for. Jack Russells.
Another agility trial for the dogs is a teeter-totter, like the ones found in playgrounds. They must run from one end to the other without hesitation. Running through tunnels is another trick for them to master, and the dogs at the Caldwells did it with ease, obviously enjoying it all the way. * i
Her dogs have won numerous trophies and ribbons over the years. Pandora won the puppy championship races. “She runs her little heart out and she is only 10 inches tall,” said Mrs. Caldwell. She feels that Pandora will be ready for the nationals next year. Daughter Ginny shows their Jack Russell, Rachel, and placed fourth in the nation last year at the national terrier trials in Maryland. 11
