The Fauquier Hospital Auxiliary launched its 1994 “Lights For Life” campaign Oct. 1, in celebration of Fauquier Hospital’s 36th anniversary.

“Lights For Life” is an annual fund raising event to support Auxiliary projects. Donations from the public are represented as lights on three spruce trees on Hospital Hill which are lit at an annual ceremony. This year’s tree lighting ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7 on the hopsital grounds.

The annual tree lighting has become a popular community function, marking the beginning of the holiday season. Each year several hundred people attend the event, which includes special music and refreshments.
