Our oldest attendees with Ethel Atkins Tyner, maternal aunt of Oakley Bowen’s children. Mrs. Tyner at this notice is 99,3 months and 7 days of age.
The total number of attendees was 42. There was much merriment, as well as food. We had some participation in a Question and Answer Contest which sparked lots of interest. The partial pedigree chart displayed captivated a few also.
There has been some interested in making a trip tothe various Bowen Ceneteries, no future dates has been set, however, if there is enought who would like to go before winter please get in touch with Wayne Baldwin or Sally Keyser to make plans.
Next year’s reunion is to begin at 12 noon on Saturday, Sept. 23. All attending are asked to bring at least one other person and extend the invitation throughout the region.
