The Longwood Center for the Visual Arts has 5,500 square feet of well-lighted exhibition space. The Center, which opened in the fall of 1993, is located at 129 N. Main Street in Farmville.
Ms. Salisbury will conduct a fourday workshop a the Longwood Center just prior to the VWS exhibition. The workshop topics are “Maximum Impact of Water Media” and “Enhancing Creativity.” Her paintings will be exhibited in Longwood’s Bedford Gallery concurrently with the VWS exhibition.
The Virginia Watercolor Society was organized in 1979 by Roanoke artists John Will Creasy and Ernest Johnson.
In addition to its annual exhibitions, the Society sponsors a foundation for educational purposes.
