Following are the results from the survey that ran* in the Rappahannock News and all other papers in the 26th Senatorial District.

I would like to hear from voters with any questions or comments.

1. Do you favor legislation allowing localities to permit casino type gambling on riverboats? Yes 26% (121); No 67% (307); Undecided 7% (34).

2. Do you favor legislation requiring a statewide referendum on the question of allowing riverboat gambling in Virginia? Yes 46% (212); No 46% (212); Undecided 8% (36).

3. Virginia has a lower gasoline tax than surrounding states. Do you favor higher gasoline and fuel tax to fund transportation needs? Yes 27% (121); No 68% (303); Undecided 7% (30)

4. Do you favor elimination of the required annual safety inspection of motor vehicles? Yes 18% (78); No 67% (343); Undecided 4% (16).

5. Do you favor a constitutional amendment requiring a 3/4 vote of the membership of the General Assembly to increase taxes? Yes 71% (326); No 23% (106); Undecided 6°/^ (29).
